The Story:
Once called the most dangerous woman in America, "Mother Jones" or Mary Harris Jones (1837-1930), was an Irish-American labor activist and community organizer. She was a prominent figure in the American labor movement, particularly in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She played a leading role in organizing and advocating for better working conditions and wages for workers in a variety of industries, including coal mining, steel, and textiles. Jones was known for her fiery speeches and her commitment to the cause of workers' rights. She was also involved in other progressive causes, such as women's suffrage and the abolition of child labor. Jones is remembered as a hero of the American labor movement and a powerful voice for social justice.

The Roast:
We take some of our "most dangerous," bold and flavorful beans and roast them to a light City Roast to bring out the vibrant fruit and citrus notes.*
